Mark your listing exchanged

Learn how to get credit for an offline exchange.

Written by Samantha Schurr

You can still get credit for an offline exchange by marking your listing as exchanged. Learn how to do that below.

Who can do this?

  • Listing managers

When would you do this?

  • You are a listing manager who wants credit for an offline exchange

Where is it done?

Mark one listing exchanged

  1. Navigate to Selling > Listings

  2. Click the 3 dots (···) next to the listing you want to mark exchanged

  3. Click Mark exchanged

Mark multiple listings exchanged at once

  1. Navigate to Selling > Listings

  2. Click the checkboxes to select the listings you want to mark exchanged

  3. In the top toolbar, click the 3 dots 3 dots (···), then click Mark exchanged

Once marked exchanged

  • The listing's quantity will go to 0.

  • The listing will move to the None available tab.

  • Reports will show the impact (weight, carbon, value) for this as an internal exchange.

Offline exchanges and reporting

Exchanges that are completed offline cannot be attributed to a specific recipient. In the Internal reuse report, these transactions will appear under the recipient filter as "Offline / Unassigned" to ensure your sustainability metrics remain accurate even when individual claimant details are unavailable.

Pro tip: partial mark exchanged

If you have a listing with quantity > 1 and you want to partially mark it as exchanged:

  1. Duplicate the listing (3 dots > Duplicate).

  2. Adjust the quantity of each listing accordingly (Edit listing> Quantity).

  3. Then mark exchanged just one of the listings.

This will allow you to generate offline orders with the exact quantity and date for each of your exchanges.
