Gain actionable insights into your organization’s resource exchanges and sustainability efforts by exploring Rheaply’s detailed reports. Use these tools to evaluate your organization’s internal and external reuse activity and make data-driven decisions to optimize your resources.

Who can do this?

  • Admins only

This article is helpful if:

  • You’re an admin looking to view or download exchange data.

  • You want to understand and highlight the ROI of using Rheaply.

Where is it done?

  • Desktop: click Reports on the left-hand sidebar.

  • Mobile: click the hamburger menu on the top left, then click Reports.

Internal reuse report

Understand the impact of reusing resources within your organization. This report includes the following:

Metrics

  • Exchanges – The number of internal exchanges between users in your organization.

  • Items reused – The number of items exchanged between users in your organization.

  • Cost avoided – The total estimated replacement cost of internal exchanges. This is calculated by subtracting the price of the quantity exchanged from the replacement cost.

  • Weight diverted – The total estimated weight diverted from the landfill of internal exchanges.

  • Carbon avoided – The total estimated embodied carbon your organization avoided by exchanging internally. Learn more about how this is calculated.

Filters

  • Date range – Filter by the exchange date (when the order was first active).

  • Location – Filter by the specific locations of each exchange.

  • Recipient – Filter by the recipient of each exchange.

  • Listing manager – Filter by the listing manager of listings in each exchange.

Use this report to highlight sustainability achievements or track progress in cost-saving initiatives for internal exchanges.

External reuse supplied report

Measure the impact of selling or donating resources your organization has supplied to other organizations. This report tracks the following:

Metrics

  • Exchanges: The number of exchanges your organization has supplied for external organizations.

  • Items supplied: The total number of items your organization has supplied to external organizations.

  • Value donated: The total estimated replacement cost of items your organization has donated to external organizations.

  • Sales: The total dollar amount of items sold to external organizations.

  • Revenue: for organizations that accept in-app payments, this is the total ____.

  • Weight diverted: The total estimated weight your organization has diverted from landfill by selling or donating to external organizations.

Filters

  • Date range: Filter by the date of the exchange (when the order was first active).

  • Location: Focus on exchanges tied to specific locations.

  • Recipient organization: For external reuse supplied, filter by the organizations receiving resources.

This report is ideal for showcasing how your organization supports sustainability within the broader circular economy network.

External reuse received report

Evaluate the benefits of resources your organization has received from other organizations. This report includes the following:

Metrics

  • Exchanges: The number of exchanges your organization has received from external organizations.

  • Items received: The number of items your organization has received from external organizations.

  • Value received: The total estimated replacement cost of items your organization has received from external organizations.

  • Weight diverted: The estimated weight your organization has kept out of landfill by receiving items.

  • Carbon avoided: The total estimated embodied carbon your organization avoided by receiving items. Learn more about how this is calculated.

Filters

  • Date range: Filter by the exchange date (when the order was first active).

  • Supplier organization: Filter by the organizations supplying resources to your organization.

Leverage this report to monitor resource inflow and track the environmental and financial benefits of external reuse.

Download report data

You can download the data shown in the table for each report by clicking the Download button in the top-right corner of the results table.

Any filters and the group by will apply to the downloaded CSV.

Group by

Group your data to organize the listings table in a way that makes sense for your analysis:

  • Location: Organize data by the physical locations of exchanges.

  • Category: Group resources based on their category type.

  • Team: Focus on activity by specific teams managing resources.

  • Supplier or recipient organization: Available for external reports to group by the organizations involved.

To group data, select your preferred option from the "Group by" dropdown menu. The table will automatically reorganize based on your selection.

Real-world use cases

  • Justify ROI: Use the Internal reuse report to show cost savings and carbon avoidance achieved through internal reuse. For example, an admin can present the avoided replacement costs of reused office furniture to stakeholders to justify Rheaply’s value.

  • Highlight external impact: Use the External reuse supplied report to showcase the value of donations or revenue generated by selling surplus items to other organizations.

  • Measure your sustainability impact: The External reuse received report is a powerful tool to quantify how your organization benefits from donated items, with metrics like weight diverted and carbon avoided adding to your sustainability goals.

By applying these reports, you can align resource management efforts with broader financial and environmental objectives, building a stronger case for sustainability in your organization.
