This article is specifically about Rheaply’s inventory management app, Visibility (root.rheaply.com), and may not be relevant if your organization is not using that functionality.
Product sets help you manage related products that are functional together, like a desk and chair, or for grouping furniture into a workstation, specific room configuration, or kit. Grouping products into a set allows your team to manage inventory more efficiently and ensure that these resources stay together.
This article is helpful if: you need to group multiple products together, you’re managing complex or composite inventory items, or you’re streamlining visibility into related resources.
Who can do this? Creators, Editors, Admins, and Global Admins can create product sets, and you can see specifics about who else can do what with product sets in the Permissions section below.
Where is it done? Inventory, Create product set
Create a product set
To create a new product set, ensure you have all the products you want to include in your set created already, then follow these steps:
Navigate to the create product set form by clicking the plus (+) icon in the top right on desktop (or tapping Actions on the bottom toolbar on mobile), then click Create product set.
Fill out the required form fields (title and category) and add any other details or photos you’d like.
Under Select products, search for and add existing products to create your set. Include the quantity needed to create a set per product, and click Add row if you need to add more than 2 products.
Review your product set and add any additional details at the bottom before clicking Create. Your new product set will now show up in Inventory, and you can see the # estimated sets based on the number of available items.
Note: A product set must contain at least two products, with a maximum of 20.
Edit a product set
In order to edit an existing product set, follow these steps:
Navigate to Inventory, then search or filter to locate the specific product set you’d like to edit, and then click it.
From the product set page, click Edit at the top of the page.
Update the editable fields as needed, then click Save.
Note: Counts of products or items in a set cannot be edited. In order to make an edit to the number of products or items associated with a set, you must create a new one and delete the previously created one if it is no longer needed.
Delete a product set
Navigate to Inventory, then search or filter to locate the specific product set you’d like to edit, and then click it.
From the product set page, click Delete at the top of the page, then confirm deletion by clicking Yes, delete.
Note: this will not delete the underlying products in the set. Deleted product sets can be found and restored on the Deleted page.
